ABOUT OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathic practitioners treat and prevent health problems by moving, stretching and manipulating muscles and joints.

Our bodies are incredible. They have built-in systems to heal and regulate. But sometimes, when we're ill or experiencing pain, there are obstructions that get in the way of these natural healing processes. These obstructions can be mal-alignments in your bones, musculoskeletal, fascia or ligamentous structures, that impede the flow of the nerves and blood, which is essential for lymphatic drainage which takes away metabolic waste.

Osteopathic practitioners do not heal, but facilitate the bodies natural healing through hands-on techniques and by treating the cause, not just the symptoms.

Benefits of Osteopathic treatments:

  • Pain relief & management

  • Stress reduction

  • Injury prevention

  • Boosted immune function
